Grand Egyptian Adventure:

An adventure that shifts you back in time. Starting from Cairo, we visit the pyramids, then explore the city on our own. We head to the upper Nile Valley, and visit the fascinating temples, the ruins of Luxor and Aswan. We attempt an assortment of transportation and cuisine. Then, onward to Dahab. You can relax here on the sandy beaches. If you are Adventurous? You can explore the fascinating beauty of its coral reefs and the amazing variety of marine life. Our highlight is Mt. Sinai.. We climb this grand mountain and watch a breathtaking sunrise that will shift us back in time. Enthusiasts can take an extension of this adventure to the White Western Desert, to explore the famous White Desert and extraordinary oasis.

Day-01
Departure for Cairo
Day-02
Our service starts in Cairo, where you will be met and greeted at the airport. You will be transferred to your hotel.  Use the rest of the day to recover from jet lag. Overnight at hotel.
Day-03
Free Day. You can catch up with your sleep and rest if you wish today. If you feel rested and up to it, you can take some of our optional tours or explore the interesting bazaars and markets on your own.  Meals: Breakfast.
Suggested optional tours for today:
01: Join our guided tour of Cairo Museum and downtown Cairo.
02: Dinner Cruise on the Nile with Belly Dance and Whirling Dervish show.
Day-04
Our adventure starts this morning with a trip to Giza. Here we visit The Great Pyramids of Giza. From here we can take an exciting camel ride in the open desert to see a panoramic view of this world famous site. We take our time to stroll around the complex and they pay a visit to the legendary Sphinx that is said to be guarding these Pyramids since ancient times. We get a chance to witness the heavy blows dealt throughout history by this mythical creature. Return to hotel for a short break. We will check out of the hotel this afternoon and can use this time to explore more of Cairo.  In the evening we transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Aswan.  Overnight on Train. Meals: Breakfast.

Day-05
Upon arrival in Aswan you will be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon we will visit the High Dam and the fascinating Phile Temple. This entire temple was uprooted from its original position and moved to its present location to save it from drowning in Lake Nasser. We will take a motor boat to reach the temple and witness numerous signs left by various nations that have worshiped here over the last two millennia. This evening you can visit the interesting Aswan market and find yourself a great deal on some good Egyptian outfits. Overnight at Hotel. Meals: Breakfast.
Day-06
Morning is free for personal activities or use this time for our optional excursion to the splendid temple of Abu Simble, one of the most remarkable temples in Egypt. In the afternoon we cruise around the enchanting Islands of the Nile. Today you will get an opportunity to ride camels in the Sahara to the nearby monastery and the Nubian village. In the village we will be visiting a local Nubian family who will host our dinner for tonight. Meals: Breakfast & dinner if possible.

Day-07
Today we take the centuries-old traditional sailboat, the Felucca, to sail along a breathtaking stretch of the Nile. As we sail along at the pace of the river our Nubian staff on board prepares sumptuous Nubian meals. Enjoy this unique experience as we may also have the opportunity to stop along the banks of the Nile to observe the local village life. This will be a great way for us to understand how people of this part of the world live their daily life. Enjoy the marvelous views as we cruise slowly to see the typical desert sunset. Tonight we sleep on the deck of the boat right under the typical desert night sky. Blankets mattresses and pillows will be provided. This unique experience is definitely a highlight of this trip. Overnight: Onboard the Sailboat. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner.
Day-08

This morning after breakfast we disembark and say good bye to our Nubian sailors. If time and day permits we take this opportunity to see a local camel market. We board our private transport and drive to the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the Crocodile Headed God – Sobek. Later we stop at The Temple of Horus (the Falcon Headed God) at Edfu. Both of these temples offer a great insight into the history of ancient Egyptian religion, its scientific and architectural accomplishments. We continue to drive northwards to the famous city of Luxor. This afternoon we will take the opportunity to visit the Luxor Temple, a grand, awe inspiring structure on the east bank of the Nile. This is a perfect time to visit the temple just a little before sunset. After sunset the temple is lit up and it turns into a glowing gem of Egyptian antiquity. Overnight at Hotel. Meals: Breafast with a scack in Edfu.

Day-09

This morning we cross the Nile and head to the Valley of Kings. Our first stop is the Colossi of Memon the seated statues of Pharoh Amenhotep III. We continue to the Valley of Kings to see its impressive tombs carved through the rock. These tombs have continued to reveal amazing mysteries and treasures including those that belong to king Tut-Ankh-Amun also known as King Tut. On our way back to Luxor we stop to see Dar-El-Behri – the grand temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This Afternoon our guide will take us to the Karnak Temple, one of the most inspiring and most imposing in all of Egypt. Here we witness its enormous one hundred and thirty four massive columns that stand the test of time and fascinate the visitor even today. Evening is free to explore the city’s busy corniche and sample some interesting local food.  Meals: Breakfast.

Day-10
After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight to Cairo or Sharm-el-Sheikh. If flight does not operate to Sharm, we will drive from Cairo to Dahab. Dahab is a peaceful little town known for its coral reefs and abundant marine life. You can simply rent snorkel and scuba gear and simply walk off the beach into the shallow waters where a variety of underwater life awaits to be witnessed. Spend your time relaxing and enjoying the nice warm waters.  Overnight at beech resort. Meals: Breakfast only.
Day-11
Today enjoy a free day, relax, get a message or venture out to explore the underwater marine life.
Day-12
This afternoon we drive to St. Katherine. We transfer to our hotel and rest for the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day-13
We start at least three hours before sunrise and head towards St. Katherine’s Monastery. A relatively moderate trail will take us to the notorious 700 steps that lead us to the summit. From the top the sunrise is spectacular. Return to hotel for breakfast. We drive to Cairo with short stop for lunch near the Suez Canal. Overnight at hotel. Breakfast and farewell dinner will be included.
Day-14
Transfer to airport for departure flight
