Day-01 Arrival at Cairo
Our representative will meet you inside the airport, look for the Off The Map sign. After you pick up your luggage your guide will bring you to your hotel in Cairo City.

After freshening up, get ready for an exploratory adventure of old Cairo. Visit Saladin’s Citadel, perched on a promontory on the eastern Nile Valley. From here, on a clear day you can have a great panoramic view of Cairo city and at distance you can spot the Pyramids to the west of the Nile. The most iconic building of this fortified structure is the alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, built in Turkish style. Next, your guide will bring you to the old town and the market of Khan El Khalili. Here you can sip tea at Café El Fishawy Cafe, this historic café is open 24 hours, 365 days a year. Some claim that the café has not closed its doors for the last three hundred years. After some tea and local-style pizza for lunch. You continue your tour to visit The Cairo Museum. This museum is home to the most important artifacts from ancient Egypt, including the mummies of the great pharaohs and treasures of King Tut. After the tour, return to your hotel.

Day-02 Cairo – Visit the Pyramids
After breakfast, this morning, join your Egyptologist guide to visit one of the seven man-made wonders, The Great Pyramids of Giza. We stroll around the complex to see the Pyramids from the outside and to understand how these massive icons of history were built. We also pay a visit to the legendary Sphinx is said to be guarding these Pyramids since ancient times. The Sphinx is a massive structure carved out of the face of the rock as a single piece. We get a chance to witness the heavy blows dealt throughout history by this mythical creature.
Hope on a camel, for an exciting ride in the open desert to see a panoramic view of this world-famous site. You can also visit inside the Great Pyramid at an extra cost, yet we warn travelers with claustrophobia, not to opt for it. You can return to the hotel for lunch. Your afternoon is free.

We highly recommend making the best of this day by visiting the Saqqara Necropolis. This visit will give you a great opportunity to understand and learn about the history of the pyramid builders and how the shape and design of these massive structures took their journey from a platform to their iconic Pyramid shape. You can visit the Pyramid of Djoser, considered to be the oldest of the great pyramids, predating the Pyramids of Giza.
The optional tour will include lunch.

Day-03 Cairo – Aswan
Have a leisurely breakfast this morning. Meet your guide who will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Once you arrive at Aswan Airport, your local guide will assist you and will transfer you to your hotel on the banks of the Nile. If time permits, we can visit the unfinished Obelisk, a quarry site, from the time of ancient Egyptians who would carve a single piece of rock, with primitive tools and techniques. This evening you can visit the interesting Aswan market and find yourself a great deal on some good Egyptian outfits.
Overnight at your hotel.

Day-04 Aswan
Your morning is free today. But you could take an optional excursion to one of the most fascinating temples of the south, Abu Simbel.
In the afternoon, you can visit the High Dam and the fascinating Phile Temple. This entire temple was uprooted from its original position and moved to its present location to save it from drowning in Lake Nasser. We will take a motorboat to reach the temple and witness numerous signs left by various nations that have worshiped here over the last two millennia. Overnight: Hotel. Meals: Breakfast.

Optional Tour to Abu Simbel:
Abu Simbel is a temple complex in southern Egypt, located near the border with Sudan. It consists of two massive rock temples, which were carved out of the cliffs of the Nubian desert in the 13th century BC, during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. The temples were relocated in the 1960s to their current location, as a result of the construction of the Aswan High Dam and the resultant flooding of the area. Abu Simbel is now one of Egypt’s most famous tourist attractions. The temples are considered to be among the greatest masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture and engineering, and their relocation was one of the largest and most complex architectural endeavors of the 20th century.

PM Visit a Nubian Village and take a Camel Ride in the Desert:
This afternoon, join our crew to take an exciting boat trip to visit many islands of the Nile. These are home to a rich and diverse bird population, attracting many birdwatchers and ornithologists from around the world. Some of the common bird species that you may see in include: the Grey Heron, African Darter, Nile Valley Sunbird, Yellow-billed Stork, White Pelican, Squacco Heron, Marabou Stork, Lesser Flamingo, and
Grey-headed Gull.

Camel Ride in the Sahara Desert: Arrive on the west bank of the Nile where your camels are waiting for you to take you deeper into the desert. Get the experience of riding a camel in the Sahara Desert.

Nubian Village:
Tonight’s highlight is visiting a Nubian village and having the chance to meet these friendly and welcoming people, who are known for their hospitality and warm nature. Visiting a Nubian village can be a unique and fascinating experience, as it provides a glimpse into the culture and traditions of one of Egypt’s oldest indigenous communities. You may also get to see traditional Nubian dances, such as the “Moulid” dance, which is performed during religious celebrations.
Most villages are located along the Nile River, with houses made of mud brick and decorated with colorful geometric designs. Once you arrive in the village, your local Nubian hosts will welcome you with Hibiscus flower tea. Most families make their own crafts to sell as part of their livelihood. You may have the opportunity to see and purchase local hand-woven textiles, baskets, pottery, and other goods. Your local hosts have prepared a home-cooked dinner for you tonight. Their local cuisine, which typically includes dishes such as ‘Ful Medames’ (a dish made of mashed fava beans), ‘Kushari’ (a mixture of rice, lentils, and pasta), and shai (a type of tea made with spices and herbs) will be some items among others in the menu. After your visit, return to your hotel for overnight.

Day-05 Sail: Aswan – Kom Ombo
Today we take the centuries-old traditional sailboat, the Felucca, to sail along a breathtaking stretch of the Nile. As we sail along at the pace of the river our Nubian staff on board prepares sumptuous Nubian meals. Enjoy this unique experience as we may also have the opportunity to stop along the banks of the Nile to observe the local village life. This will be a great way for us to understand how people in this part of the world live their daily life. Enjoy the marvelous views as we cruise slowly to see the typical desert sunset. Tonight, we sleep on the deck of the boat right under the typical desert night sky. Blankets, mattresses and pillows will be provided. This unique experience is a highlight of this trip.

Day-06 Kom Ombo – Luxor
This morning after breakfast we disembark and say goodbye to our Nubian sailors. If time and day permits we take this opportunity to see a local camel market. We board our private transport and drive to the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the Crocodile Headed God – Sobek. Later we stop at The Temple of Horus (the Falcon-Headed God) at Edfu. Both of these temples offer a great insight into the history of ancient Egyptian religion, its scientific and architectural accomplishments. We continue to drive northwards to the famous city of Luxor. This afternoon we will take the opportunity to visit the Luxor Temple, a grand, awe-inspiring structure on the east bank of the Nile. This is a perfect time to visit the temple just a little before sunset. After sunset, the temple is lit up and it turns into a glowing gem of Egyptian antiquity.

Day-07 Luxor
This morning we cross the Nile and head to the Valley of Kings. Our first stop is the Colossi of Memon the seated statues of Pharoh Amenhotep III. We continue to the Valley of Kings to see its impressive tombs carved through the rock. These tombs have continued to reveal amazing mysteries and treasures including those that belong to King Tut-Ankh-Amun also known as King Tut. On our way back to Luxor we stop to see Dar-El-Behri – the grand temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This Afternoon our guide will take us to the Karnak Temple, one of the most inspiring and the most imposing in all of Egypt. Here we witness its enormous one hundred and thirty-four massive columns that stand the test of time and fascinate the visitor even today. The evening is free to explore the city’s busy corniche and sample some interesting local food. Meals: Breakfast.

Day-08 Luxor – Sharm El Sheikh – Dahab
Today enjoy a free day to relax and shop. Later this evening we will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Dahab is a peaceful little town known for its coral reefs and abundant marine life. You can rent snorkel and scuba gear and simply walk off the beach into the shallow waters where a variety of underwater life awaits to be witnessed. Spend your time relaxing and enjoying the nice warm waters. Overnight at beech resort. Overnight, at your hotel. Meals: Breakfast.

Day-09 Dahab
Enjoy a free day at your resort.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Enjoy a free day at your resort.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day-11 Dahab – Cairo
This afternoon your guide will bring you back to Sharm-El-Sheikh airport for your flight to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day-12 Cairo – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
